L.A. Theatre Works On the Air:

Special Fund Drive One-Hour presentation

of Yasmina Reza's "THE UNEXPECTED MAN"

Thursday, May 23, 8:00 pm - 9:00 pm

In The Unexpected Man (from the acclaimed author of Art and God of Carnage), a man and a woman sit opposite each other on a train from Paris to Frankfurt. He’s a world-famous author; she’s got a copy of his latest novel in her handbag. As we hear their innermost thoughts as the journey passes, we wonder if they'll ever speak to each other? The Unexpected Man stars David Suchet and Harriet Walter.

Also, available this week at www.latw.org
Simon Helberg in “Dr. Cerberus

L.A. Theatre Works’ Radio Theatre Series will air Dr. Cerberus, written by Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa, directed by Bart DeLorenzo and starring Simon Helberg. The broadcast will be streamed for one week only on demand at www.latw.org.

Simon Helberg
(The Big Bang Theory) stars as a teenage misfit coming of age in the comforting glow of late-night horror movies. But when reality begins to intrude on his fantasy world, he realizes that hiding in the closet is no longer an option.  BOTH "DR. CEREBRUS" and "THE UNEXPECTED MAN" are available as pledge drive premiums. Pledge at www.kpfk.org
